ComBioTES Project Final Event – Why Attend!
ComBioTES is a Horizon 2020 project developing 2 modular, compact thermal energy storage systems for buildings. Its innovative design enables notably seasonal flexibility—storing hot water in winter and ice in summer—using high-performance bio-based phase change materials to support heating, cooling, and hot water needs efficiently and sustainably.
🎯 Our main goal: to reduce residential electricity consumption by shifting thermal loads across seasons. By enabling smart storage of heating, cooling, and hot water, the system helps optimize energy use and lower electricity bills for end users.
Who should attend? Whether you’re a researcher, policymaker, industry expert, or sustainability enthusiast, this event is for you.
