MUSIC Prototype Begins Testing at DTU!
Following its successful manufacturing by DELAUNAY ET FILS, the MUSIC prototype has now entered a critical phase of development. After delivery to our partner CEA, the system underwent essential preparations including PCM filling, electrical wiring, and commissioning. With this milestone complete, the prototype has arrived at DTU – Technical University of Denmark, where the team has dived into two major testing campaigns.
Phase 1: System Characterization
This phase is all about understanding the core behaviour of the MUSIC prototype:
- Evaluating operational performance under various conditions
- Testing embedded control logic
- Verifying built-in safety protocols
These insights are vital for ensuring the system’s reliability and responsiveness in real-world applications.
Phase 2: EMS Validation
Here, we’re exploring the power of Energy Management Strategies (#EMS):
- Intelligent EMS: Adaptive algorithms designed for dynamic market and operational environments
- Rule-based EMS: Structured decision-making for predictable scenarios
By comparing these approaches, we aim to identify the most effective strategies for optimizing energy use and system performance.
