Exploring the next steps in PCM TES innovation: Join the ComBioTES online workshop
The journey into Phase Change Material (PCM) Thermal Energy Storage (TES) continues. After an in-depth exploration of the fundamentals and design of PCM TES in Sessions 1 & 2, the next step is to examine how these advanced energy storage systems are integrated and demonstrated in real-world applications.
The upcoming sessions of the ComBioTES online workshop will focus on key innovations in energy management and the practical implementation of PCM TES systems. In Session 3, Shi You from DTU will present insights into the Energy Management System (EMS), covering its development process, methodology, and integration with TES systems to optimize energy distribution.
Following this, Session 4 will showcase the demonstration of the MUSIC prototype, led by Arnaud Bruch from CEA. This session will explore how PCM TES is tested in both controlled and real-world environments, offering valuable insights into its role in improving energy efficiency and sustainability.
The workshop will conclude with an open discussion, providing participants with the opportunity to ask questions and engage with industry experts. This interactive session aims to facilitate knowledge exchange and encourage collaboration in the field of energy storage innovation.
